Top                             Welcome!

As an architect I have always been  interested in panoramic photography because it provides a very special way of looking at space. Before the rise of computer graphics, it was not possible to experiment beyond the limits of  printable media, but now that limit is gone! Virtual panoramas have evolved to become an artform where the viewer (you) has the ability to control the point of view and composition of the photograph.

The goal of this web site is to show the beauty of our island, Puerto Rico, using 360° panoramic photography. The site was created and is maintained by María (my daughter) and myself. We will promote the  use of panoramic photography in architecture , nature studies and commercial uses.

The site is simple and we strive to keep it simple. What we want is that you enjoy the views as much as we enjoyed taking the photographs. We would love to hear from you, just email us with your remarks, they will be truly appreciated.

The interphase (software) used to show the panoramas was chosen because of it's simplicity, smoothness and ease of use. You don't need special software to see the photos but you must be sure that Java is installed and enabled. If you are not sure just click here to get Java for free!

* Our full immersion gallery is now open! The panoramas shown  in the 360° x 180° gallery are the most impressive since you can control the point of view towards any direction. This shifts the conventional photographic paradigm where the photographer was the master of a single point of view. By being able to look in every
direction , the dimension of space is added to the photograph in a way that was not possible before.

* We  have posted a small group of "cylindrical" panoramas in our 360° x 30° gallery!  It's a collection of pano-photographs called "Imágenes y Momentos de Mi Viejo San Juan" .

* Visit our City Plazas. We started with Plaza Palmer in Caguas but the list will grow! check them out at our
360° x 30° gallery!
